Lommel.
Borderland is a project I made in my third year of my education. It’s about land between The Netherlands and Belgium called The Campine. Even though the land is seperated by a border, both sides of the border seem to have something in common. Originally, the people who live in The Campine were poor, because the soil was too poor to grow any crops. When the Industrial Revolution started, many metal-processing industries were established in The Campine. Nowadays, over 500.000 inhabitants live and work here.
